The POS Information Tab is used to setup Mix Match codes. If the Batch is a Normal Price Change Batch the Mix Match code is changed to the Products table.  If the Batch is a sales batch the Mix Match will only be in effect for the duration of the Batch.

The other fields shown here are for information only, such as Target Margin, Pack/Size, and UPC Link. Any changes to these fields must be made in either the Product Maintenance form or the Mass Product Changes form (used to edit an entire product group or section of items).


  1. From within the Enter Prices for an Ad/Batch screen, click on the POS Information tab.
  2. To enter Mix Match codes, click the Allow Mix MatchAllow_Mix_Match field and search for a Mix Match CodeMix_Match_code_for_an_Ad. If you do not want Mix Match Codes to be in effect for the duration of the batch make sure the Allow Mix Match is not checked. Mix Match codes are used to group similar items together, such as different flavors of Jello. For example, you might have a group threshold method of pricing set, to buy 2 and get 1 free. With a mix match code, the customer can buy any 3 flavors to get the discount.
  3. NOTE: Mix Match Codes are created in Product Group Maintenance.
    • Special Mix Match Codes can no longer be typed into Product Batches. Click on the Ellipsis button to the right of the Mix Match field.The Product Group form will open up as shown above. Press Add to create a new Special Mix Match Code. Add the item and any other UPCs you want to the Special Mix Match Group.
  1. Continue with the Attributes tab to set product discounts properties.
  2. Click on the Save a Current Record button in the toolbar after you have completed your changes to this batch.
  3. Return to the Pricing tab to add the next item to your batch.
